1.Accepting these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and TheFrenchWay2PR, an online French school run by Jay Patel in Ontario, Canada ("we", "us", "our"). They apply when you visit our website, create a free account, use our practice tools, book a consultation, download an ebook or enrol in a course.
By using our services you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2.Who can use our services
You must be 18 years or older to create an account, book a consultation or enrol in a course. Jay to confirm By using our services, you confirm that you are.
3.Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account per person. Accounts cannot be shared or transferred.
- Tell us right away at thefrenchway2pr@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account.
4.Free account and practice tools
A free account gives you access to our practice tools (verb conjugations, grammar, reading, listening and writing practice), the placement test, the Maple Leaf progress map and the leaderboard.
- Free accounts can take 5 tests a day across all practice tools. The count resets each day.
- Practice results and progress data are kept for 3 months at most, then deleted automatically. Your progress map and points reflect this window.
- Placement test results and level estimates (CEFR and NCLC) are guides to help you choose a course. They are not official results.
- We may change, add or remove free tools or limits. We will try to give notice of major changes.
5.Courses and enrolment
We teach live online French classes from A1 to B2, with preparation for TEF Canada and TCF Canada.
- Small groups: 1 to 3 students per batch.
- 4 live sessions a week: 3 class sessions and 1 doubt-solving session.
- Recordings: every class is recorded and shared with the enrolled students of that batch.
- Community: enrolled students can join our student community.
We may suggest a level after your placement test or consultation. Your batch, start date and class times are confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp) when your seat is confirmed. Class times are in Eastern Time. Jay to confirm
Consultations
A one-to-one consultation is a 30-minute live online call that costs $30 CAD. It is booked once payment is received.
6.Prices and taxes
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), per student.
| Plan | 1 student | 2 students | 3 students |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly (per student, per month) | $400 | $350 | $300 |
| Combo A1 + A2 or B1 + B2 (35 sessions, about 3 months, per student) | $750 | $650 | $550 |
| One-to-one consultation (30 minutes) | $30 | ||
The group price depends on the number of students in the batch when it starts. If a batch gets smaller after it starts, your price does not go up for the period you have already paid. Jay to confirm
Taxes: if TheFrenchWay2PR is registered for HST, 13% Ontario HST will be added where it applies and shown on your invoice. Jay to confirm
We may change prices for future enrolments. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

- Monthly plans are paid before each month starts. Combo plans are paid in full before the first class. Jay to confirm
- Online card payment will be added later. We will name the card processor in our Privacy Policy and on the payment page when we add it.
- Never send us your online banking login, password or security answers. We will never ask for them.
8.Schedule changes and missed classes
- If you miss a class, you can watch the recording. Missed classes are not refunded or made up.
- If we cancel a class, we will tell you as early as possible and reschedule it, or give you a make-up session if a new time does not work for you.
- We may change class times with reasonable notice, after checking with the students in the batch.
- Technical problems on your side (internet, device, power) do not count as a cancelled class. If our own connection fails, we treat it as a class we cancelled.

All payments are final and non-refundable.
- Courses: monthly and combo fees are non-refundable once paid, including if you stop attending, miss classes or leave the course early.
- Consultations: the $30 fee is non-refundable. You can reschedule once if you tell us at least 24 hours before the call.
- Missed classes: not refunded. You can watch the recording and bring your questions to the doubt-solving session.
The only exceptions: if we cancel a whole course or batch, or close your account without a breach on your side, we refund the classes you paid for and did not receive. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Please take the free level test or book a consultation before you enrol, so you are sure the course is right for you. Questions: thefrenchway2pr@gmail.com.

This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies other students already saved or replied to.
We will not use your posts or writing publicly (for example on social media) without asking you first. You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
13.No exam or immigration guarantee
We teach French. We do not guarantee any exam score, NCLC or CLB result, Express Entry points or permanent residence outcome. Your results depend on your own study, practice and the exam on the day.

15.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- TheFrenchWay2PR is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income, a missed immigration deadline, or exam fees.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under Ontario consumer protection law.

- You can close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Course fees are non-refundable (see section 9).
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where reasonable. If we close your account without a breach on your side, we will refund unused, prepaid classes.
